"WHAT ALL WERE OUR INITIAL CHALLENGES AND HOW CRM PLATFORM HELP US LAYING STRONG FOUNDATION"
Though spreadsheets was a good idea at early days but as a Startup:
"Our Intial challenge was not just to get the concept validated but also to get maximum output with limited dispersed workforce & financial aids, maintain relationship and understand the target audience behaviour."
i.e All the points of interaction throughout the journey from prospecting to potential buyer to a repeat customer:Our journey starts with Initial targeted surveys across the different audience levels, lot of networking, relationships,Leads-hunting, farming,On-boarding Free clients and finally break through–paid customers and further scaling up (growth plans).
This process stretched for few months and we went through lot of hit and trials for Pricing, Pitches, Identifying the right market segment, Target Audience , Free-lancers,Sales distribution channels, in between have Partners,Suppliers, Changing Sales Staff ,Payments, Accounting...
With multiple leads & scattered resources to follow per day (Thumb rule-deal requires 8 to 10 follow ups before anything happens).To manage all these in a multiple spreadsheet and stay completely focused to extract meaningful insight from the data would be a nightmare & next to impossible for us or requires extra time and energy to bring it in order.
Luckily, due to recent growing demand of SaaS & Cloud technology and unconditional offerings by many such platforms to name a few Zoho,Freshworks,Hubspot... We able to leverage one of the CRM platform to setup the right sales process in the early days to maximise our market reach, and to extract meaningful insights from scattered resources which help us in qualifying the potential clients,amplify the lead conversions, improved Win rates & further help us identify the right Product market fit.
Though we successfully able to marked our presence in the niche market but unfortunately failed to sustain for long due to some other reasons. As we all know, every Experience counts & give you the learning for better future.Hoping tobe back again in Action soon with new Challenges and opportunity.......
TO CONCLUDE:
For Startup with CRM Lead/Prospect and Opportunity management becomes easier ,Clear visibility,enhance sales personal productivity ,Less efforts more work resulting in a short sales cycle, improved Win rates and enhanced Customer satisfaction.
